Torn in which direction to take my fic.

So, I've been working on a fic where Aemon and Jocelyn have a second daughter. I have her as the love interest of Daemon since I wanted to write a Daemon/oc. It's a mix of book and show, but leans more heavily towards the book.

I've planned out two alternate ideas but I'm torn now in which direction to go. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Alysanne has my oc betrothed to the current lord of White Harbor. (Not sure if it would be Desmond's father or uncle. Desmond is already betrothed to another northern house.) Daemon is betrothed to Rhea Royce. They're married off but still manage to meet. Any children my oc bears would be Daemon's, yet she would pass them off as her husband's (I have it right now as it being two sons.) She has the Baratheon black hair so it's more feasible. Once her husband and Rhea die, then oc and Daemon marry without Viserys's leave and the story still continues towards the dance. Their eldest son would take the place of Harwin Strong and father Rhaenyra's children.

Alysanne has my oc and Daemon betrothed and they marry. They have children while Viserys and Aemma still continue with fertility issues. Viserys is still named heir but Baelon allows Daemon and oc to manage Dragonstone while he focuses on his duties in King's Landing and teaching Viserys how to rule. In order to placate the Manderly's, one of Daemon's daughters is betrothed to Desmond's son,Medrick. Problems would still arise between Daemon and Viserys due to Otto and Daemon's growing power and influence. It would progress towards the Dance inevitable as well.
